Workshop 1 - Will Involve Setting up Your iPAD for Use at School and Home
STEP 1 - Setting up your Passcode Lock
First thing to do is go to Settings and tap on Passcode Lock
Enter the passcode - which is the number of the sticker on the back of your device
1
2
Once entered click on Simple Passcode - as all you will need is a four digit passcode which is easy to remember (PLEASE use a number you will remember and write it down somewhere private just in case!)
And then tap Change passcode - type in original again and then your new four digit passcode
Make sure to set the iPAD to autolock after a certain number of minutes for security

STEP 2 - Top Tip
As shown in Screenshot 6 - in the settings page there are two other elements I would advise you turning on - 1) is the screenlock rotation with the sideswitch, I promise you it stops many annoying moments; 2) the Multitasking Gestures as this will enable easy switch between screens and applications
STEP 3 - International Keyboards and Languages
Within the setting area another simple but important thing to do as we all speak different languages is to setup your iPAD so you can change the keyboard accordingly.
Simply go to International keyboards and choose as shown below
5
6
Then in any application just hold down the world key - and up will pop whichever keyboards you have chosen ready to use automatically - cool huh.

STEP 4 - The Four Finger Swipe
Make sure in settings the Multitasking Gestures is turned on and then test out the four finger swipe gestures to improve multitasking and switching between apps - see the video below for more help... nice and easy...
